The new ACC version 4.13 with many new features has been available since January 11, 2016:

  • WinCC agent
The excellent integration in WinCC is further improved with the new version of the WinCC agent. With the new ACC Control for WinCC, you can configure messages for the ACC directly in the WinCC Graphics Runtime: Your employees now have the option of immediately assigning messages from WinCC/PCS7 to the alarm groups and reacting flexibly to specific plant states. A WinCC expert is no longer necessary. You can now use the message class of WinCC to decide how the agent should behave. It can be defined for each message class whether messages should be alarmed and on which event (eg message gone) the alarm should be ended. By recognizing whether a notification is hidden, the agent can decide whether to alert the notification. Do you want a secure alarm? With the new monitoring functions, the functionality of WinCC and the WinCC agent is checked cyclically. Message texts can now also contain Unicode characters. This makes it possible, for example, to send an e-mail with Cyrillic characters. The new agent is released from WinCC Version 7.2 Update 7.
  • PCS7 agent
The new PCS7 agent is specially tailored to PCS7. The new functions of the WinCC agent are also available to the PCS7 agent. The new agent is released from PCS7 Version V8.0 SP2.
  • Windows client
Do you want to display messages clearly on a monitor or inform the staff at the gate about any faults that occur? With the ACC Windows Client you can now receive and acknowledge messages directly on a Windows PC. An acoustic signal draws the employee's attention to the arrival of a message, which can also be read out using text-to-speech.
  • Speech output channel
With the new voice output channels, messages can be sent via almost all telephone networks. In addition to the direct connection of telephone systems via SIP, you can also use ISDN and analogue telephone connections via a Dialogic® Diva® card or a beroNet box. A beroNet box makes it possible to use it in a virtual environment. You can obtain the necessary hardware directly from us. We have validated the smooth interaction with the Alarm Control Center in our test laboratory.
  • Set participant status
Version 4.13 is now delivered with the "Set participant status" function as standard. This allows you to conveniently change your participant status at any time using the ACC app (Android and iPhone). For example, you can receive your notification by e-mail during working hours and change your status when the on-call service starts so that the notifications are forwarded to your smartphone. Alternatively, you can no longer receive any messages at all during your free time.
  • Option man alone
You want to inform a complete group of people about an emergency, for example. This is now very easy with our Android app together with the Man Alone option. With this you can, for example, report a fire alarm in Hall 3 with one click or call a colleague to support you in eliminating a fault on system 4711.
  • Android app
With the new version of the ACC there is also a new version of our Android app. You can now specify whether you want to receive and acknowledge messages either via TCP, SMS or both protocols in parallel. Requests to the ACC (e.g. Man Alone) are now automatically sent via SMS if no TCP connection is available. This improves the reliable transmission of requests to the ACC. An app widget for activating and deactivating the TCP connection is now available to you. This allows you to activate or deactivate the connection to the ACC directly from your home screen and also see the current status of the connection.
